I threw away the BadBeat and my name is Pat
Today at Lumiere Casino, the Badbeat jackpot of $200,000 was thrown in the muck in a 1-3 NLH game. Let me take you back to this misfortune. Player A raises to $13, Player B re raises to $35, and Player C folds 10h8h hesitantly (my favorite hand) saying to himself, "I should play this!" Well the flop was QsQh7h, the turn card was a 9 of hearts giving Player C an open ended straight flush draw. And then from out of nowhere, the river came a J of Hearts giving Player C a straight flush praying that no one had any of that. Player B turns over 2 queens and then the uproar began. Sorry Pat, maybe next time you'll play my favorite hand, the eggroll.

Congratulations Tony Russo
Tony Russo has done a great job turning Lumiere Casino into one of the best poker rooms in the Midwest. The poker room definitely has the best action with its 1-3 NLH and 5-10 NLH on Tuesdays. Having trained the best dealers and supervisors to run Lumiere Poker Room, Tony has been promoted to help run River City Casino opening March 2010.
